None Provided4 Romeo and Juliet In my opinion, the new-fangled version of Romeo and Juliet directed by Baz Luhrmann basin in no way be compared to the unstained version. Although the directors intentions were visible, the occupy itself was not what I would consider a proficient movie. The directors intentions seemed to sift to take the original Romeo and Juliet and place them in modern times. Guns were use instead of swords and cars were used as transportation. The language thus furthermost was not changed to modern times which more often so not made the require very difficult to understand.
